I can't believe that I am the one who gets to start this thread!!

Anyway, THE PLAYERS is buy far in my opinion the best non-major. Say what you want about it being the 5th major of the year. I will not argue. The field is the best it will be all year, the course is about as tough as you can expect. And, then there is the 17th hole dream killa!!!! Man, I could watch these guys play that hole all day long!!

Can Mick repeat? I dunno, I am just looking forward to having my butt glued to the chair and watching it all!

Sergio got off to a hot start with an opening 66. He putted decent for once

Butm day 2 shows signs of being a windy day. I think by the end of today anyone at even par is still in it. Oh, and 17 is proving to be a beast!

As I watch the guys this week it seems a few are having problems with the wind. Not only with full swing shots, but also with putting. These greens are running about 13 on the stimp meter. So, the windis having a dramatic effect on putts.
