When I was younger I played almost every week in the summer and played on some nice courses when on vacation.

After I left for college my folks SOLD my clubs that were given to me by a friend who had a similar build.

I came back and tried to play with clubs my dad had kept all these years.  He is 4" shorter than I am and hasn't bought a new club in probably 10 years!

Currently I'm playing with antiques that are too short.  I'm finally getting my wife to understand why I want to buy a new set of clubs.

I'm also finally in a career where you can get out and play a round or two without having to play hookie!

The last round I played before this post I hit a tee shot that dug into the ground...spun up and went 4 feet BACKWARD!

I love playing but have a road to haul to get back to my better game!
